GfA 18th & 19th April 2026
Many congratulations to those of you who put yourself out there and competed at the GfA this weekend. I was very proud of you all. Please remember that a competition is not just about how good you are, but also about how good everyone else is that you are competing against. Thank you to all the parents for arriving on time and with hair sorted or at least coming with equipment – I thought our gymnasts all looked smart and prepared! Thank you also to Em, Amy and Laura for coaching over the weekend, it can be stressful as a coach, but your calm authority and happy demeanour really helped the gymnasts to perform their best.
We made a good tally for medals and placings and many congratulations!
I’ve put which levels they were in, but within each level there were different age groups, so for example in level 6, both Shaylee and Laney came 1st, but they weren’t against each other as they were born in different years and so were in different categories.
